Bri & Noah’s wedding at The Surf Hotel in Buena Vista took place on the perfect Fall day in Colorado. The morning unfolded in two of the most beautiful Airbnbs I’ve ever seen just a short walk from the venue. In signature Colorado fashion, snow fell on the mountains all around us, but the weather stayed beautiful and clear for the entire wedding day.

I woke up on the morning of the wedding in Buena Vista, having driven in from Denver the day before. The leaves were just peaking and for the first time in my Colorado-native life, I got to see the Rocky Mountains in Fall. I immediately knew this was going to be one of the most beautiful weddings.
Bri & Noah booked two of the most stunning Airbnbs for getting ready with their closest friends. There was so much time to just enjoy the day together, being fully present and soaking up the beginning of this new chapter.
The Surf Hotel has some of the most breathtaking locations for first looks and the backdrop of the perfectly golden leaves just made me melt. In truth, I don’t necessarily have a standing preference in the “first look” vs “no first look” decision. I trust that whatever my couples feel is truly right for them is best and work with them to make the day go smoothly no matter their desire. But for Bri & Noah it was so perfectly fitting.
After family and bridal portraits, they retreated to their suite for a moment alone and to just take a breath. The whole time leading up to the wedding I could tell how intentional they were being with making sure that they genuinely experienced their wedding day. Seeing that intention play out was beautiful.
The couple said “I do” and the reception was one of the wildest I’ve ever experienced in my wedding career.
“I would hire her again in a heartbeat if I could do my wedding all over again.”
